[edit] How To
Welcome to the SimCalc MathWorlds Effort for Internationalization. Here we welcome contributors of your native language to help us create strings for your language in our Software.
The separate languages are set up in tables of 4 columns.
This is how the HTML code will look when you edit a wiki page:
{| border="3" |+ Caption for Language Title !key!!English String!!Translated String!!English Translation/Meaning |- |key string - this is ignored||English String as is in the software||The Translated String||The English Literal Translation |}
The typical look and feel of this wiki table code is:
| key | English String | Translated String | English Translation/Meaning |
|---|---|---|---|
| key string - this is ignored | English String as is in the software | The Translated String | The English Literal Translation |
| key string - this is ignored | English String as is in the software | The Translated String | The English Literal Translation |
| key string - this is ignored | English String as is in the software | The Translated String | The English Literal Translation |
Typical editors of this material will only edit lines that look like so:
|key string - this is ignored||English String as is in the software||The Translated String||The English Literal Translation
and it is only necessary to edit the field labeled "The Translated String"
