David Tall is an Emeritus Professor in Mathematical Thinking at the University of Warwick Institute of Education. He is interested in how humans learn to think and developing a framework for mathematical thinking from its sensori-motor foundations through developing language and symbolism to adult mathematics, both practical in life and applications and theoretical in research.
